A key part of being a social club focussed on meeting the needs of the local community is the regular and routine activities that take place regularly on site at the Bicester Ex-Services and Social Club.
Our members can get involved in the following regular events and activities. Some of the groups that use our venue are set up as separate associations and therefore may require additional membership to the social club.
Information on all of the activities below can be obtained from any member of staff in the club who will either find the answer or point you in the direction of the relevant contact for more information.
- Bingo takes place on Monday evenings and Thursday and Sunday afternoons.
- Live entertainment is on show at the club every Saturday and on other days for special events and occasions. A full event listing can be found on our events page.
- Our own Silver Threads group meets at the club thorughout the week.
- In addition, we are proud to be associated with the following teams who compete in local leagues:
- Pool
- Darts
- Aunt Sally
- Men’s football
- Under 15 girl’s football
- Dominos
- A regular salsa class is offered in our function room.
At all times, members can take advantage of:
- Large TV screens around the venue showing Sky and BT Sports fixtures.
- Multiple pool tables, dart boards and fruit machines.
- A jukebox is available to play your favourite tunes.
